Angeline Hall Opens the Doors to 2263 Valdina with A Night In Italy Themed Anniversary Party

Angeline Guido Design commemorated its remarkable journey with an unforgettable 10-year anniversary celebration. The event, held on May 9th, seamlessly blended sophistication with a touch of fun Italian flair, a nod to Angeline's heritage. Anyone who knows AGD, knows we like to have a good time!

Angeline has a fantastic eye for entertaining, which can be seen throughout her design work. When she approached me at the start of the year about helping her bring the vision to life, I leaned into all of my skills, contacts, and know-how that I was able to develop during my years as an event/wedding planner. Together we had one goal: lots of fun!

The idea began with creating a mood board based on Positano in Spring. We knew that coastal blues complimented by citrus accents would be the color direction for the event, enter Stephy Gustafson of Dear John Paper Co. Stephy, who is one of Angeline’s dearest friends, worked with a watercolor artist to develop imagery that carried throughout the invites and party imagery, and we could not have been happier!

The day of the event was an all hands-on-deck kind of day! Reno, Sydney, Angeline, and I worked our little hearts out to transform the design studio into an Italian dreamscape.The space was adorned with lush olive branches, cascading jasmine vines, and boxwood greenery sprinkled with lemons, transporting guests to coastal gardens. One of my favorite decor elements of the evening were the concrete busts we used to design elaborate floral arrangements that were placed throughout the building.The ambiance was complemented by classical Italian music and the aroma of freshly prepared charcuterie and desserts, setting the stage for an evening of indulgence and reflection.

The festivities continued with a live sketch artist, photobooth and wine tasting. As conversations and laughter ensued guests indulged in a selection of antipasti, cured meats, cheeses, and decadently displayed cannolis and limoncello tarts, all expertly paired with fine wines and spirits.

It was a heartfelt night to celebrate such a momentous event with all the artisans, craftsmen, vendors and clients who have been by the company’s side and helping shape its culture and vision. It is these longstanding partnerships and collaborations that have contributed to the firm's success and also those who will propel AGD into the future.
